Welcome to St. Catherine of Siena School, a beautiful faith community! Our school and parish have many activities that support spiritual development. It is possible for families to be a part of our school community for 11 years or more, if your child began in our preschool. The relationships students and families form last many years. We celebrate Mass as a school on Friday mornings and a monthly Parish School Mass.
The Catholic Schools Week theme for this year is Learn, Serve, Lead, and Succeed – a wonderful way to describe our school. It is the strong faith of parents that draws them to our school. It is also the strong faith of our faculty and staff who have accepted their positions as a ministry, teaching our children how to live as Jesus did. Our academic curriculum is guided by the diocesan standards, which include the CCCS (California Common Core Standards). Students in grades K-8 receive instruction in: Religion, Reading, Writing, Math, PE, Science, Social Studies, Art, Computer, Music, and Spanish. Our teachers, parents, and students have high expectations.
St. Catherine of Siena School is truly a special place where each student is recognized as a unique individual blessed with their own talents. When students are happy and enjoy coming to school to learn, we know God is present.
May God Bless You,
Christine Walsh
St. Catherine of Siena School Principal.
