St. Catherine of Siena School provides students with opportunities to participate in various activities outside the curricular area. The school has an extensive sports program which includes flag football for boys in grades 5-8, volleyball for girls 5th-8th, basketball for both boys and girls 5th-8th, volleyball for boys in grades 7 and 8, and cheerleading for both boys and girls 6th-8th. This year we introduced cross county by offering participation in a meet with cluster schools. The goal is for this program to expand.

We also offer opportunities in non-sports activities. These activities include choir grades 4th-8th, drama week, student council 4th-8th, safety patrol 5th-8th, instrumentalists 6th-8th, religious education student assistants 8th, candle bearers 5th-8th, student acolytes 8th, readers for mass 2nd-8th, gift bearers 2nd-8th, and cross bearer ministers junior high. In addition, since 2005 the school has sent a team from the 5th and 6th grades to compete in the Diocesan Religion Decathlon. This year we are sending our third team to the Diocesan Academic Decathlon. Our students may participate in the parish sponsored CYA (Catholic Youth Association) activities, including the annual Passion Play.
